COVID vaccination and booster dose programs are being widely implemented across all countries. India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 196.94 Cr (1,96,94,40,932) as per provisional reports till June 24. Apart from this, a total of 3,62,20,781 children between the age group of 12-14 years have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 4,36,17,583 individuals have been given precaution dose.
A total of 15,940 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
This pretty much explains why we need to be still careful about the virus and why is it too soon to drop our guards.
A particular section of people in the society are more vulnerable and susceptible to a viral attack than others and not just this, the COVID can leave a long lasting impact on these people as well. Hence it is very important to recognise these people and make sure they stay as far as possible from every source of infection.
