NEET SS 2022 Counselling: Round 1 registration process begins on

New Delhi: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India has started the NEET Super Speciality Counseling 2022 application registration for Round 1.

The NEET SS 2022 Counselling Round 1 application registration began on November 22, 2022. Candidates, who are interested and eligible but have not applied yet, are advised to apply for the Round 1 counselling process for Superspeciality courses online through the official MCC website –

The last date for registration is November 28, 2022. Candidates can opt for choice filling from November 25 to November 28, 2022. The processing of seat allotment will be done on November 29 to November 30, 2022, and the result will be announced on December 1, 2022. Candidates can report to their allotted colleges from December 2 to December 7, 2022.

Earlier, as per the directions of Madras High Court, the seat allotment for Round 1 of SS Counselling 2022 would be delayed by 10 days to enable the parties to approach the Supreme Court for clarification, but the registration process for Round 1 started as per the schedule published on the official website.

“In order to enable the parties to approach the Hon’ble Supreme Court, 10 days is granted. Till such time, if the Central Authorities want to go ahead with the counselling as scheduled by them to have the registration of candidates, they can go ahead with the same provided no final allotment orders be given to any candidates encroaching upon the 50 per cent of seats reserved for in-service candidates in Super Specialty courses available in the Government Medical Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu for the academic year 2022-23 as per G.O Ms. No. 462 issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu”

“In view of the above orders, the Registration for Round 1 is being opened as per schedule. However, the seat allotment will be done as per further directions from the Hon’ble High Court of Madras/Hon’ble Supreme Court of India,” reads a notice posted on the official website.
