Sri Lanka shares slip in mid-day trade

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka shares slipped for the second consecutive session on Monday (25), Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.

The main All Share Price Index fell 0.40 per cent or 30.51 points to 7,691.27 at 1130 hours.

The most liquid index slipped 0.06 percent or 1.44 points to 2,460.54.

Market generated a turnover of 311 million rupees.

Top losers were Browns Investment, Expolanka and LOLC Holdings.
